The Furasato is a large Japanese restaurant, very popular with UN and diplomatic clients.
A sushi bar displays a mouthwatering display of fresh sashimi, while 6 Tepanyaki tables allow the Japanese and Kenyan chefs to show off their culinary skills in front of guests, a private dining area for up to 10 guests is also available for a little more privacy . The menu is extensive and the food is first class! Even simple dishes, such as noodles are divine using fresh ingredients and are beautifully presented at all times. The seafood is highly recommended served either as a sushi set, or cooked as a sizzling main course.
It has a tasteful décor and a fairly open plan interior with setting capacity for a large number of guests. There are also several tables outside on a covered patio area. Reservations are recommended at weekends and evenings.
Furusato used to be found just behind the Sarit Centre in Westlands but moved to it’s new location in 2008. Now, it isn’t far from Nakumat UK and just around the corner from Le Rustique.
