This historic open-air brasserie/bistro-style café has been a popular meeting place for travelers and business people since 1959.
Ernest Hemingway, used to sit here, and watch the world go by so it’s a good place to soak up the history of the place. Travellers from all over the world post messages on it’s famous notice-board which stands in the centre of the café and is now on it’s third acacia tree! All around, is a wall of stained glass which makes a very attractive feature.
- Live Jazz, Rock, Reggae, African fusion, and Soul music make for daily evening entertainment. The music starts at 6.30pm on weekdays.
