Amani ya Juu Garden Cafe

IMG_0047Amani Garden Café offers customers a haven of peace where they can enjoy a calm and tranquil setting right in the centre of Nairobi.

Amani means “Peace from Above” and here customers are surrounded by the rich flora and fauna of Africa; aloe vera plants, bird of paradise, bougainvillea, bottle brush trees, double hibiscus.

Children are most welcome and run around freely in the garden as their parents and friends have a relaxing drink and snack and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.
The café itself offers light lunches, snacks and cakes, as well as a range drinks; cappuccino’s, fruit juice etc. The café serves gourmet garden salads, the Serengeti, Abedere or Amani, which are reputedly the best in Nairobi.

The Amani Garden Cafe is a Christian run establishment, which supports Kenyan women and refugees from many African countries. Within the centre, there are several other fund raising activities going on, including a beautiful shop selling handicrafts made by the women who are supported by this non-profit organisation.
