GP Karting offer a fun day out and is a professionally run outfit.
A short safety talk at the beginning of your session, is then followed by 10-20 minutes of racing for speed enthusiasts. The equipment is well maintained and the karts are very stable. A printed sheet with all your lap times, best lap time, fastest kart for each race etc. It’s all recorded automatically.
Helmets and overalls are provided, and at just over $12 per person, this is much cheaper than karting in many other countries.
There is a snack bar on the premises selling hotdogs etc and some play equipment to keep youngsters amused is on site too.
This is a popular place to go at weekends and they also often cater for large groups for team building, birthday parties and other such events. It may be best to book ahead but not always. Usually we’ve just turned up and it’s been OK.
They have recently opened a firstname.lastname@example.org site adjacent to the Go Karting site.
The Go-Karting is next door to the Carnivore Restaurant and also close to the Nairobi National Park.
